Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking
 Berlin Turnpike
Human Trafficking is an issue that effects any gender, any race, and any age. There are 27 million slaves in the world today. There are more slaves in the world than ever before. Human Trafficking violates human birthrights, compares to slavery with African Americans in the south and totally ignores the civil liberty of freedom from slavery, and ingnores our constitusional principal of libral democracy. But, this is happening right here in CT on the Burlin Turnpike and recently Windsor Locks. Where is our protection? This hits home for me and many people who pass the Burlin Turnpike everyday.  At night children and women are being sold for sex. This tears away self-esteem, respect for themselves, hope and many more. What if that was our family? Your sister, your bestfriend. Are we just going to watch this happen or raise awarness. I am asking for your support and help to raise awarness about Human Trafficking not only in CT but other places as well.
